We attended the Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders Open Day to learn about adoption, with no intention to adopt right away.
However, this is where the next year of our lives began.
We adopted Bliss in April 25 and she was an instant hit with the kids and my parents’ dog.
We had teething issues which were understandable, and with our commitment and Molly’s guidance, Bliss began to relax into home life.
The children have been very involved in Bliss’ care and this shows with one of our favourite things about her. When they arrive home later than us Bliss will go bonkers, running and jumping round the house, sometimes barking, telling us the pack is back together. Then getting comfy for a snack and a couple of hours of belly rubs and neck scratches.
Rhainie says “Bliss is so calm and friendly. She is easy to be around and has settled in nicely and loves her new home.”
Madison says ” I thought Greyhounds would be boring but as time went on I have found she is playful and full of love. I’m so pleased we adopted her. “
