Richie is the fifth greyhound to grace my life. My daughter and I attended a Homefinders Open Day and I fell in love with Richie the moment our eyes met – I knew we were destined to be together.
Richie is my best pal and we do just about everything together. Many joke about couch potato lazy greyhounds but Richie loves to walk as much as I do, we certainly make a great match.
His next favourite thing to do is eat, and fresh chicken is what he likes best!
Richie and I are both volunteers for Homefinders. Richie gets so excited when I put his Homefinders jacket on him, as he knows what’s in store. He laps up all the love, affection and treats that everyone gives him. He’s getting older now, but he still does his best and is looking cuter than ever with his little grey heart-shaped face.
Richie usually sleeps soundly all night on his bed that is next to mine in my bedroom. He gives sweet little snores and sighs of contentment that I find both relaxing and reassuring to hear.
