This beautiful girl is Pearl, who is currently in a temporary foster home.

Pearl is 8 years young and has lived in a home for 5 years. Sadly, one of her owners passed away and the other was unable to care for her.

Pearl has lived with other breeds of dogs and is used to older children. She is housetrained and quick to settle.

Pearl is good on the lead too, although does still have a keen eye for cats/small animals!

We’d love to get Pearl settled in a new home – she’s had a lot of changes recently so needs some stability.

Pearl is fit and healthy but she does need another dental which won’t leave her with many teeth (we will cover this treatment).

Pearl would fit into most homes – she could live with other dogs and is used to children 10+. She would also be quite happy with an older owner as long as she still gets a couple of good walks a day and could be managed around smaller animals.

FOREVER OR FOSTER HOME NEEDED

This super handsome blue boy is looking for a new home due to a change in circumstances.

We homed Soldier 2 years ago – we’d like to find him a new home straight from his current home to avoid him coming back to kennels.

Soldier is a very happy and affectionate lad who loves to be with people. He is a very clever dog who doesn’t need much training and settles into the routine very well.

After a few minutes sniffing he walks very well on a lead and is a great companion on long walks.

He is house trained, and a very clean dog and can be left for 4–5 hours without any problem. He never chews, does not jump on furniture and is always polite and very sweet.

Soldier has a wonderful character and would love to have lots of company and interaction. He currently lives in a house without a garden but would love to run and play in a nice garden.

Soldier is fine with most dogs but there are some breeds he is wary of. Soldier may well be fine with children, but his current owner does not have any and so cannot confirm.

Soldier is the perfect dog who is dearly loved by his current owner, who sadly can no longer look after him.

Louie is new into the kennels. He is a quiet and well-mannered boy in his kennel but happy and waggy-tailed as soon as he steps out! Louie loves his walks and has a lovely spring in his step. He gets on well with the other hounds and is used to older children. Louie is yet to meet other breeds.

Elvis is a smaller boy with a happy and cheeky expression. He is always pleased to see people, greeting you with a big grin and waggy tail! Elvis is good on the lead after initial excitement and walks well alongside the other hounds. He is a little unsure about other breeds at the moment but could live with older children. Elvis loves to be with people so would appreciate a home where he will have plenty of company.

Ideal Home Description

Elvis would be content to be the only pet in the home but could live with older children. Elvis will appreciate not being left alone too much – he would be a super ‘work from home’ companion, happily snoozing while you work!

Handsome, happy Spy is our second longest stayer. He is mostly good on the lead and friendly with the other hounds that he knows. Spy has grown in confidence so much since he first came to us, he’s really funny and loves showing his cheeky and playful nature now. Spy can still be shy in new places and may be fear reactive towards other breeds – plenty of space, positive reinforcement and slow introductions really help him succeed. Given some time, patience and routine, Spy will make a fab pet, we all think he’s great!

Spy’s ideal Home

Spy would be best suited to someone kind and gentle with dog experience. He needs someone who will help him gain confidence at his own pace. A home in a quieter location would be preferable, with a garden for him to enjoy some playtime. He is mostly easy on the lead but needs someone who can manage his strength if he gets spooked/reacts to something. He loves to feel comfy and warm.
