He’s small for a boy and walks well on the lead after the initial excitement of greeting his fans! Elvis is good with older children and is quite content as the only pet in the home – he walks well with the other hounds but is still of suspicious mind about other breeds… He is clean and quiet in his kennel and loves his king-size bed!

So, if you’re feeling lonesome tonight, Elvis would love to be your new companion. As much as he is settled and content, he would love to find a home of his own and leave the building!”

Handsome, happy Spy is our second longest stayer. He is mostly good on the lead and friendly with the other hounds that he knows. Spy has grown in confidence so much since he first came to us, he’s really funny and loves showing his cheeky and playful nature now. Spy can still be shy in new places and may be fear reactive towards other breeds – plenty of space, positive reinforcement and slow introductions really help him succeed. Given some time, patience and routine, Spy will make a fab pet, we all think he’s great!

Spy’s ideal Home

Spy would be best suited to someone kind and gentle with dog experience. He needs someone who will help him gain confidence at his own pace. A home in a quieter location would be preferable, with a garden for him to enjoy some playtime. He is mostly easy on the lead but needs someone who can manage his strength if he gets spooked/reacts to something. He loves to feel comfy and warm.

Annie is a beautiful small girl with a shiny blue coat. Annie has a happy and confident character, she takes everything in her stride and loves to be out exploring new walks, wagging her tail the whole time! Annie is playful and affectionate, she loves people and has been good around older children and other dogs she’s met so far. Clean, quiet and quick to settled, we are sure Annie will take to home life with ease. She is a fit and strong girl.

Annie is best suited to a family who enjoy longer walks and can manage Annie’s enthusiasm! Annie is very clean and quiet in her kennel so we think she will adjust to being left for short periods.

Flash is new into our kennels. He is a lovely, affectionate and very handsome boy! Flash gets on well with the other greyhounds but is unsure of other breeds at present. More info to follow as we get to know Flash and assess him further.

Flash may be able to live with other greyhounds.

Delly is a very handsome tall blue boy with bright, loving eyes. He has a very charming nature and loves nothing more than lots of fuss and affection! Delly is friendly with everyone he meets and is very much a people dog. He mostly walks well on the lead but does find other breeds and wildlife quite exciting at the moment! Delly walks out well with the other hounds, loves his food and is clean in his kennel.

Ideal Home

Delly will make a great family pet and could live with older children or teenagers, he may accidentally knock little ones over when he comes in for cuddles! He loves to be involved and would enjoy being included on days out.

Babe is new into the kennels – she is a beautiful tall, elegant black girl. Babe is very shy and nervous at the moment as it’s all new to her. She is good on the lead and walks well with the other hounds. Babe will need a quiet, patient and understanding home where she will be given time to settle and gradually come out of her shell. We are already seeing glimmers of a playful and cheeky personality!

Ideal Home

Babe is looking for a calm home in a quieter location. She could live with quiet, older children who will be respectful of her nervousness. Another calm, confident dog may help her to feel safe and gain confidence.

Beau is a very handsome black boy with a distinguished white face and bright eyes that gaze lovingly at you. He is a very friendly and affectionate boy who will quietly enjoy fuss and affection. Beau recently spent a week in a foster home and proved to be a brilliant houseguest! He was clean, quiet, undemanding and quick to settle. Beau is adjusting to the world outside of kennels and can be reactive towards some other breeds – he is looking for someone who can manage this and work with him.

Beau would be happy to live in an adult home or with older children. He may be able to live with a female greyhound but not other breeds or cats. He is a very good boy in the home but needs someone stronger to manage his reactivity.

Libby is a pretty, smaller girl who walks well on the lead. She is affectionate and loves being in the company of people. Libby walks well with the other hounds and enjoys countryside walks, but she can get overwhelmed in busier places and may freeze. She will need time to settle and be able to take things at her own pace. Libby may be able to live with quieter, older children and possibly a laid-back male hound.

Libby would be best suited to a relaxed home in a quieter location with a kind and patient person who will help her grow in confidence. Libby doesn’t enjoy being in her kennel so we’d love to find her a home soon.

Hippo is a truly stunning boy with his tall, elegant stature and sleek, shiny coat. Mostly good on the lead too, Hippo loves to be out walking or visiting a secure field for a stretch of the legs. Hippo can be unsure of new people and in new situations so will be best in an adult home with a good routine. He will need lots of time, patience and multiple visits to gain trust of any potential adopter. Hippo will be a very loyal companion once he bonds with you.
