  • Libby

Sadly, due to no fault of her own, Libby is due to be returned. She was adopted early December (after 10 months in kennels) and has adjusted to home life really well…

Poor Libby does not cope well in kennels. She is looking for a home with someone around most of the time to help her settle in but has started to be left for short periods.

Libby could live with older children/teenagers but will likely be best as the only dog in the home. She may be able to live with a super chilled male dog who will let her be the boss!
She has just turned 6 and is a dinky girl at only 25kg.

Although good on the lead, Libby may freeze on walks during the settling period, so needs a patient person. As she grows in confidence and feels settled and secure, this will improve. She really enjoys quiet countryside and woodland walks!

Libby has been quick to learn her new routine and is clean indoors. She has a very affectionate and loyal nature and loves her comfy bed.

    Libby’s ideal home

Libby would be best suited to a relaxed home in a quieter location with a kind and patient person who will help her grow in confidence. Libby doesn’t enjoy being in her kennel so we’d love to find her a home soon.

Libby’s racing name was Take Off Libby [IU/UK 2019]  Born November 2019

racing name  Rasher Dasher [IE/UK 2019]
    color  Blue
    sex  Male
date of birth  6 APR 2019
friendly to  children: older  dogs: ?   cats: ?
This handsome blue and white boy is Eddie who was homed earlier in the year. Sadly, due to a change in circumstances, Eddie finds himself looking for a new home again
Eddie does not cope well in kennels so we are desperate to avoid him coming back. We really need a new home or a foster
Eddie is 6 years young and a fit, strong boy who enjoys long walks. He is playful but happy to snooze away in a sunny spot too. Eddie is super affectionate and loving and loves to be in the company of people.
Eddie is best as the only pet in the home and with someone around most of the time, especially in the early stages. He could live with older children/teenagers.
An ideal home for Eddie would be an active, newly retired couple or someone who works from home

  • Aoife – reserved

Aoife is a stunning, elegant girl with a shiny black coat and beautiful eyes. Aoife is quiet and clean in her kennel and walks nicely on the lead. She enjoys her walks with her shy friend, Rusty, but is still unsure of other breeds as they are very new to her. Aoife enjoys interaction and is beginning to show her happy and playful side as she settles.

    Ideal home

Aoife would be happy to live with a male hound and is comfortable around older children. She loves her comfy bed and has good manners. Aoife enjoys her walks but will need someone who is happy to build her confidence around other breeds.

Aoife may be able to live with other greyhounds and children.. He is sweet natured, quiet and inquisitive.

  • Spy – reserved

Handsome Spy is our second longest stayer. Spy is a sensitive boy but has grown in confidence so much since he first came to us, he’s really funny and loves showing his cheeky and playful nature now. However, Spy can still be shy in new places and fearful of other breeds – he much prefers walks in quieter locations where he won’t come across too many dogs. He is mostly easy on the lead but needs someone who can manage his strength if he gets startled/reacts to something.
Spy absolutely loves his bed and being comfy and warm. Given some time, patience and routine, Spy will make a great companion.
He will be most content and happy in a quiet, peaceful home without other pets or children.
Spy has spent time in a foster home and was the perfect house guest – house trained, well-mannered and happy to be left for a few hours at a time!

    Spy’s ideal Home.

Spy would be best suited to someone kind and gentle who lives a quiet life. He needs someone who will help him gain confidence at his own pace. A home in a quieter location, as the only pet, would be preferable, with little hustle and bustle

    Spy is in Kennel 10

Spy’s racing name was Citizen Spy [IE/IE 2018]  Born June 2018
