Hippo is a stunning tall boy with a glossy black coat. Good on the lead, Hippo loves to go for long countryside walks with the other hounds or visiting a secure field for a stretch of the legs.

He would love a rural home with a good-sized garden where he can play with his footballs. Hippo is an intelligent boy and will be so loyal once he bonds with you. He is a sensitive boy and is looking for someone experienced, calm and knowledgeable in dog behaviour.

Hippo is our longest-stayer. He will need someone with patience who is willing to make multiple visits to spend time with him, get to know him and gain his trust. We know he will be a great companion for the right person.
