Fabio is a handsome fawn dog who is very friendly and affectionate. He has been in his current kennel since he was 12 weeks old so has grown up playing with lots of teddies and toys and he will make a lovely family pet. He likes to go on walks and is very fond of treats. He has always been kennelled with a female greyhound but not used to other breeds.

Fabio’s racing name was Decoy Fabio. Born June 2021

Bonnie is a very attractive fawn girl who is always happy to meet people and go for walks. She likes to be sociable and is very enthusiastic . Bonnie loves her toys and treats. She can be strong on a lead but is easily managed with a harness.

Bonnie’s racing name was Heavenly Queen. Born September 2021

Fergie is a 3yr old small black dog. He has spent some time in a house and was very clean and happy. He enjoys a fuss and a cuddle and adjusts to new routines quickly. He would make a great companion for an older person but would equally be happy in a family environment.

Fergie’s racing name was Wee Mac Jimmy . Born May 2022

Twiggy is well a mannered, friendly and playful girl who is looking for a family to call her own. Twiggy was very clean in the kennels; she loves her playtime, whether that’s stuffed animals, balls, or just simply zooming around. She has been walked, brushed and played with by children which she absolutely loves.

Twiggy is currently staying in a Foster home with 2 other Greyhounds, she has settled brilliantly. She is housetrained and has been actively meeting other breeds which has been going very well.

Twiggy’s fosterer has said:

“Twiggy is a sweetheart, very playful and loves her toys and chasing Vinnie. She’s good with other dogs and even smaller ones given right introduction. She’s settled at night and no issues with any ‘accidents’ and she’s happy to be left with the others when we go out. She will be best suited to a stimulating home either with other playful dogs or children who would play nicely with her. She takes time to trust new people and is a little stubborn on the lead, but she is getting better.”

We feel that Twiggy would benefit living with another Greyhound or potentially another breed of dog. Ideally she would love to live with an active family looking for a placid playful girl to join them on their sofa.

Twiggy’s racing name was Murlens Twingo. Born September 2020

Smudge is 2 years young and on the hunt for a comfy sofa after deciding playing with the other dogs was much more fun than racing. He loves to chase around after his toys and, although Smudge is still young, he is very laid back and quick to learn a new routine. Smudge has a quiet nature and loves ear scratches, he absolutely loves his food and will never turn down a snack between meals. Smudge would prefer a home without young children.

Smudge’s racing name was Boy Trigger. Born December 2022

John is a bit shy with new people and enjoys the quiet life. He enjoys going for quiet walks where he can take in the surroundings and go at his own pace. Once he’s comfortable with you, he enjoys endless belly rubs and cuddles. Although John is quiet at first, he loves to have a play and mess around. John would make a lovely companion for someone who also enjoys a slower pace of life.

John’s racing name was Kereight John. Born August 2020
